Groei Social Networks enorm!

De groei van nieuwe gebruikers van social networks is in de VS aan het afvlakken, maar in de rest van de wereld explodeert het aantal gebruikers. In Europa groeit het aantal gebruikers van social networks met 35 procent, in Latijns Amerika met 33 procent en in Midden- en Oost Afrika met ruim 66 procent. Dat blijkt uit een onderzoek van comScore, zie hier het persbericht: ‘Social Networking Explodes Worldwide as Sites Increase their Focus on Cultural Relevance’ (via: MarketingCharts).

‘While the social networking trend first took off in North America, it is beginning to reach a point of maturity in the region,’ zegt Jack Flanagan, de VP van comScore in het persbericht. “However,’ vervolgt Flanagan: ‘the phenomenon is still growing rapidly in other regions around the world – especially as the established American brands turn their focus to developing markets.’
